DENTAL IMPLANTS

RESTORE YOUR SMILE – PERMANENTLY.

Missing teeth can affect how you eat, speak and feel. Dental implants offer a long‑term, fixed alternative to removable dentures, giving you back a natural‑looking smile and the confidence that goes with it.

The Implant Journey

Dental implant treatment is tailored to your needs, but the journey generally follows these stages:

The six stages are:

  1. Initial consultation – we discuss your goals, medical history and budget with a dentist or treatment coordinator.
  2. Clinical assessment – X‑rays and models of your teeth determine whether you have enough bone and healthy gums to support an implant. Some patients need a bone graft or sinus lift before placement.
  3. Implant placement – under local anaesthetic, the dentist cuts the gum, drills a small hole into the jawbone and inserts the implant. Sedation is available for nervous patients.
  4. Healing phase – the bone integrates with the implant over four to eight months. Temporary teeth may be fitted while you heal.
  5. Fitting your replacement teeth – once healed, an abutment and custom‑made crowns or bridges are attached.
  6. Aftercare – follow your dentist’s instructions and attend follow‑up appointments to keep the implant secure and healthy.
