Meet the Team

Liana has over 20 years of dental experience and a keen interest in orthodontics and myofunctional therapy. She offers fixed orthodontics, Invisalign, and Myobrace treatments.

Liana consistently keeps herself updated with the latest techniques. Training with some of the best orthodontic trainers globally, including those in Canada, South America, and Australia.

In her spare time, Liana enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Brad Hawkins brings extensive experience to Optident Dental Clinic, having qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2005. Since then, he has mentored Foundation Dentists, lectured undergraduate dental students, and worked as a clinical educator for dental hygiene students. In 2015, he furthered his expertise by completing a Master’s degree in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry.

Brad is committed to providing personalised, cost-effective treatment plans that reflect each patient’s individual needs and goals. His clinical skills span a wide range of implant treatments, including single tooth replacements, implant bridges, All-on-4 same-day teeth, zygomatic implants, bone grafting and sinus lift procedures.

Outside of dentistry, Brad leads a busy family life, spending most of his spare time with his two young children and their growing collection of pets. When time allows, he enjoys mountain biking, road cycling and skiing.

Michele is an overseas-qualified dentist currently practising as a Dental Hygienist in the UK. With a strong foundation in comprehensive dental training from her home country, she brings a high level of clinical knowledge, technical skill, and a preventative approach to patient care.

Michele provides a full range of hygiene services, including non-surgical periodontal therapy, maintenance appointments, and personalised oral health education. Her background as a dentist allows her to take a holistic view of each patient’s oral health needs, ensuring thorough assessments and meticulous clinical care.

Known for her gentle technique and calm, reassuring manner, Michele is dedicated to helping patients achieve long-term gum health and maintain confident, healthy smiles. She continues to develop her skills through ongoing professional education and has a particular interest in periodontal therapy and preventative dentistry.

Outside her clinical work, Michele enjoys spending time with her family, friends.

Dorina started her dental career as a Dental Nurse. Soon after she pursued further studies as a Dental Therapist, completing her course with a First Class Degree at the University of Essex.

Dorina recently qualified in Facial Aesthetics. Soon she will provide those treatments in our practice as well. Dorina loves working with children and enjoys giving her patients the best smiles by completing cosmetic dental work.

In her spare time, Dorina loves spending time with her family and travelling.

Lijana qualified as a dental hygienist in 2001 and joined Optident Dental Clinic in May 2018. Lijana is a very calm and caring person and often gets told that her treatments are relaxing.

During Lijana’s spare time she loves spending it with her family.

Marwa is an overseas-qualified dentist currently practising as a Dental Therapist/Hygienist in the UK. After completing dental training at Cairo, Egypt, she gained extensive experience in preventative and restorative dentistry, working across both private and community settings.

With a strong foundation in evidence-based oral healthcare, Marwa provides high-quality therapy services including periodontal care, routine restorations for adults and children, oral health assessments, and preventative treatments. She is particularly passionate about patient education and empowering individuals to take control of their oral health.

Known for her gentle approach and ability to work effectively with anxious or young patients, Marwa is committed to delivering safe, patient-centred care while maintaining the highest professional standards. She continues to expand her skills through ongoing professional development and has a keen interest in Cosmetic bonding such as Smile fast, paediatric care.

Aura is a full-time mum to two lovely children and works part-time at Optident Dental Clinic. She has a keen interest in myofunctional dentistry.

Aura has attended European courses, enabling her to support the TCO in providing valuable insights to parents and children.

In her spare time, Aura enjoys meeting up with friends and often attends theatre shows. She also volunteers at local children’s centres.

Andreea joined the practice as a trainee dental nurse in 2021 and has thoroughly enjoyed her experience so far. She looks forward to advancing her career in dentistry.

Andreea is also a mother to her beautiful daughter, which occupies much of her spare time. Spending time with family is very important to her.

Tash is a dedicated trainee dental nurse who is currently preparing to sit her professional exam. With a calm and caring approach, she is passionate about supporting both patients and the dental team to ensure each visit runs smoothly and comfortably. Tash takes pride in her training and is committed to continuing to grow within her role in dentistry.

Outside of work, Tash loves going on holiday and making the most of her time exploring new places. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family, relaxing and making memories whenever she can.

Milly qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2023 and has quickly progressed within her role, developing a strong range of post-qualification skills. She is trained as an Oral Health Educator and Treatment Co-ordinator, allowing her to support patients with both their clinical care and treatment journeys. In December 2025, Milly further advanced her qualifications by successfully completing her Dental Radiography post qualification.

Milly is passionate about patient care and takes pride in helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their visits.

Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, exploring new places, and experiencing different cultures whenever she gets the chance.

Petra is a trainee dental nurse who has recently begun her college training and is excited to be starting her journey in dentistry. She is enthusiastic, caring, and keen to develop her skills while supporting both patients and the dental team with confidence and compassion. Petra is committed to learning and growing within her role as she progresses through her training.

Outside of work, Petra enjoys spending quality time with her daughters and wider family, making the most of every moment together.

Samantha qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2003 and has since developed an outstanding breadth of experience within the profession. She has completed a wide range of post-qualification training, including Implant Nursing, Sedation Nursing, Radiography, and many more advanced clinical skills.

In 2015, Samantha progressed into a management role within Community Dental Services, gaining valuable leadership experience before returning to general practice in 2018 at Optident Dental Clinic. More recently, in May 2025, Sam further expanded her professional skillset by becoming a certified Buteyko breathing method instructor, supporting patient wellbeing alongside clinical care.

Outside of work, Sam leads a very active life. She is a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Karate and has previously represented the UK at the Karate World Cups. When she’s not training, she enjoys watching a game of rugby or spending time in the kitchen baking

Mircea has a degree and background in computers and electronics. Originally from Romania, he joined the Optident Dental team in 2016 part time. Over the years Mircea has become very knowledgeable in all areas of dentistry, and has become a full time member of staff.

Mircea in his spare time loves to travel and chill watching a movie.
